June 2, 2019: Technique and the Classics
Join our mixologist for an afternoon of learning the classic cocktails everyone should know. Along the way, you will also learn many of the important techniques used while crafting the perfect cocktail. Learn the bar and how to properly make the classics. Some of the drinks we will be covering are Negronis, Old Fashions, and Cosmopolitans. We will talk about why these drinks taste so good, and how to make each one of them perfect each and every time.
July 14, 2019: Mixology 101, Summer Fruits and Vegetables
Join our mixologist and learn the basics of crafting cocktails. Mixology 101 will give you a solid base to confidently make classic cocktails as well as creating new cocktails of your own. You will learn how to get comfortable with the art of mixology while making classic cocktails and learning how to create your own. We will be using seasonal fruits and vegetables using the classics as a baseline. We will get creative with syrups, shrubs, and juices.
August 18, 2019: Building a Home Bar
Join our mixologist to learn what is takes to build your own home bar. She will teach you what you will need to purchase in order to have a well stocked bar. This class will cover what you will need to purchase for your own home bar. We will cover what staples you will need to keep in stock, as well as how to entertain using your well stocked bar.
September 15, 2019: Batching Cockails
Join our mixologist for a class teaching you how to make large batch cocktails. This is the perfect class for those of you who want to learn how to make your cocktail parties easier by pre-mixing cocktails. In this class you will learn how to make oleo sacchrum, plus large ice molds, as well as the math behind the large batched cocktails. You will learn dilution, measurements, and what makes a great punch.
